Summary
The first time he met Diluc was after he was picked up from the rain and abandoned by his father, and it was also on that day that he understood why the Gods preferred some people over others. He understood why Gods decided to pick favorites because if Kaeya was a God...then he too would have picked Diluc to be his and to have his blessing. On that night, Kaeya finally understood the Gods that have damned his homeland and his people.
“My little sunshine,” Kaeya said with a tender smile on his lips. He was happy. He was excited. He was scared but most of all...he felt in control. He watched as Diluc slowly blinked and looked at him, waiting for his command, waiting for his every word.
Kaeya wondered if this was the power that Gods felt.
Or Kaeya is the mole within Mondstadt that his people are depending on. He only wants to achieve one goal and that goal is to make this city and their archon fall but he also has a new life with a new family and Diluc...He's different. He makes Kaeya feel strange and he isn't sure what these emotions are but it doesn't matter as Kaeya makes sure to have Diluc under his control.
