Summary
Sometimes when he thinks of Justine, and of Graham, and of the tarry pit in him that grows bigger each year for want of a black-eyed songbird, a nursemaid, a brother, a soul shared in the empties of his cigarette pack wondering what it’d take to feel whole, he’ll indulge it— tuck his head into the crook of Jamie’s neck and call him names, charcoal-stained nails scratching at his scalp. It feels good to be wanted by someone who hasn’t stopped yet. It feels good to be at the start. It would be best, Damon thinks, if life were to happen only in starts.
Damon and Jamie's shared flat, 1998. Musings on endings and beginnings, in that order.

Summary
It puts him in mind of seeing his parents or his old girlfriend after the accident, their eyes glassy and voices trembling. He remembers how he’d blinked through the dull red film that coloured his hospital room and said he was sorry. Sorry for what he put them through.
It felt unfair then. It seems unbearable now.
A character study of Stuart as he records The Fall during the American leg of the Plastic Beach tour, reworking the Gorillaz plot around the real touring timeline; or, thoughts on trauma in transit, who we are to strangers, and the link between sugar cravings and opioid dependence.
Now including art by @satsumaorenji.

“Meth mouth. S’when your tooth enamel melts and they go all sideways and fall out.” Murdoc taps a fingernail on his incisor, punctuating where Stu’s are missing. He earns an unimpressed look.
“I took some tweaker’s crap car to the face, what’s your excuse?”
“I’m English.”
A commission about Murdoc's oral fixation.

Summary
It’s easier when Murdoc’s got a reason to wait at his feet, over his knees, above his zip, asking only for willful hands to find his head.
A quick-and-dirty drabble about fingers.

About self, shame, and spunk. A crass conversation between two people who probably shouldn’t shag, definitely did shag, inevitably will shag again.

Dungeness isn't the end of the world but it might as well be. It looks like the husk of a dead planet. It's the most earthly place you've ever seen.
