Sometimes, when Saki would relapse, she’d cry. Tsukasa was always there, at her side. He’d hold onto her hand as their dad carried her to the car. She could see them from the outside of the back window, how he’d smile at her, and for a moment, Ichika could believe everything was alright. Everything would be alright.
Tsukasa was very, very convincing.
