He knows a lost cause when he sees one, and he sure as hell knows that Hakkai just sees him as an older brother and that he, Takashi, is in way over his head- just like Chifuyu right now, thinking he and Hakkai could be anything more.
Or, a simple comment from Hakkai causes Takashi to doubt where he stands in his best friend's life and with a little help from Toman's self-proclaimed love expert, he comes to a few epiphanies.
