    Summary

In the thick air of her tiny flat, Hermione swallows drily and then asks, “Was it someone I knew?”

It’s an odd question. When your former lover bangs on your door in the middle of the night asking you to help him hide a body, one is not supposed to ask about the well-being of said body. Nor whether one had been previously acquainted with the body, before it’s untimely demise, that is. Would the murderer/ex-boyfriend maybe fancy a drink? Would it be appropriate to suggest making him something to eat?

    Perhaps not.

    Hermione is distracted.

[Or, Oxford Tomione murder mystery but nothing is what it seems. Half a decade apart, a secret buried, and two people who know too much. Every choice echoes in blood and memory.]
