Summary
One of the plentiful stories asking the simple question: What If?
What if Denji and Reze truly escaped together?Intended as a longterm story with elements of action, horror and a decent amount of drama, the ultimate focus is meant to be on an awkward romance, fluff, teenage angst and a fair amount of slice-of-runaway-life, as we experience the bond between Reze and Denji. Still, while presenting an alternate reality, it is supposed to follow the world of Chainsaw Man, as such, violence will play a strong role and threats like the Gun Devil do factor in.
Important disclaimer: While picking up where the movie left of, characters form the future of the manga (part 1 AND 2) will feature into the story sooner or later - whether or not they will still be spoilers for anime watchers remains to be seen and depends on how long the entire thing will end up becoming.
Spoilers for anime-only viewers will be warned of in advance of chapters as well.Tags will be updated as required - warnings for violence and sex are included upfront though, though when and to which degree these will effectively factor in remains to be seen.

Summary
Denji thought that this town was grey and boring and dull, but at least there wasn’t anything too crazy happening. He wasn’t in school, and neither was Reze, but they weren’t killing each other anymore either. She liked putting her arm over his stomach when then shared space on the mattress in their little apartment, tucked away in a snowed-in alley. Denji was pretty sure this entire fuckass situation was what people would call a miracle, running away and still living to see the sunrise, or whatever. Even now—night coming down—his coat gone, instead wrapped around Reze instead of himself. Still a miracle, even without the warmth.
