George clicked the link to the application form on the website.
Bright colours greeted him along with bold letters welcoming him to ‘Camp Lakeshore’, a name that brought up dusty memories.
Vague images of a scared pale boy, no older than ten, flashed up in his mind. It was the boy, who he went to camp with. The boy, who hid behind a twelve-year old George and had terrible nightmares. The boy with short blond hair that stuck up in all directions with timid sweet eyes that always seemed to be looking for a way to avoid being perceived. He felt like the boy’s name was on the tip of his tongue but it had corroded with time. His face was a mere estimate of how he probably had looked back then, with big round cheeks and button nose to match. But without any pictures George couldn’t test the validity of the image his mind had conjured up a dozen years later after seeing the name of his old summer camp.

George applies as a camp counselor to the summer camp he used to go to and meets Dream, the boy he befriended all those years ago.
