"You’re doing so good.”
While he spoke, he sensed a subtle change in Jay’s breathing. It hitched, then grew just a little shallower. Tim stilled his own breathing so that he could pay closer attention.
“..Jay?” At first, he thought he might’ve been crying. But concern quickly turned into curiosity when he felt Jay’s hips shift against his thigh. He could feel fingers curling into the fabric of his old, smoke-drenched flannel with the action.

Summary
(Based on the song Forever Fall from RWBY)
Some loves don't last, flittering away like gold and brown leaves on the wind, but for Jay, it seems even losing memory of his former crush didn't stop him from rediscovering the spark he once felt, those feelings his anxiety had driven him to bury until it was too late for fear of rejection.
What is he supposed to do when he finds his old film class journal and a few secret tapes, which reveal how much of a lovesick puppy he was for Tim? A part of him wants to forget again, but the part of him that believes in fate figures that he was able to recover some memory of those feelings for a reason.
