II craves the safety of the cold dark house he’s built a home in, it’s old and crumbling around them, it’s barren and by all rights it should be devastatingly lonely to occupy such a big empty space with only three others but it never feels that way, it’s his home and the only place he’s comfortable to truly exist in.
Sometimes, when he can’t piece together why he would have chosen this life of pain and servitude, he thinks about his home and his family, and it makes it slightly easier to live with.
