This is dangerous. Not just in the real physical danger sense, which it is as well.
But there's an energy in the air. Like the lighting Nyx is pretending she isn't braced for, there has always been a tension that crackles between them.
Every time they talk it's a confrontation, and Nyx is still pretending she doesn't get some kind of thrill from it. Because that isn't something she can think about.
It's not something she should be thinking about.

Even after the events of the storm that nearly destroyed Pixie Hollow, Nyx and Fawn aren't done causing problems for each other.
From unspoken apologies to broken bones, it really seems to be what they're good at.
A trip across the Winter border might give some of those things a chance to heal. Then again, maybe it will just complicate their feelings further.

Thesis: Fawn's deeply ingrained need to befriend dangerous animals would apply to Nyx.

Before negotiating with Sparxie during the confrontations with Fulwish, Stelle needs a moment to prepare herself- and to utterly break down after enduring the slanderous onslaught from the media. March 7th follows her and tries to comfort her despite feeling she's not as good at it as Dan Heng is. In the end, Himeko joins the two and helps them pull themselves together, sparing a moment for story time before getting back to business.

Summary
It's only been three weeks since Stelle woke up on The Herta's Space Station and joined the Astral Express, and she's already died, overthrown a government, and fought an immortal Lord Ravager that had pretended to be a friend. Stelle has been trying her best to help everyone, ignoring her own needs for others' sake in the process. All to quiet her fears that she isn't good enough and that the Nameless would leave her behind when they eventually realize she's just a burden to them. However, there's only so far someone can push themselves before they break.
Or, Stelle pushes herself too hard in a desperate attempt to feel like she belongs, not realizing she already does.
