He glanced over his shoulder. “Oh! I’d be happy to, J!” He gave them a smile, a normal one, not a fanged grin.
V wouldn’t ever admit aloud that it always melted her core a little. “Feel free to put on a show,” she suggested. She sat down in the snow and pulled a worker closer to snack on.

Summary
The two weeks since becoming their whole selves, past and future combined, had been spent preparing for this very night. They’d gathered together every memory of Uzi’s wry commentary on her powers post-battle, begrudgingly dredged up their infrequent experiences watching Cyn indulge her eldritch side, and then practiced-practiced-practiced in the dead of night. On their tight timeline, they were saved by nothing more or less than the simple fact that a lot of it was instinct. This power wanted to be used.
“Break a leg,” V said.
“I’m gonna break so many legs.”
