He began to run towards the sounds, up the winding stairs that led him to the dungeons. The worship hall emanated a sickening red light, nearly blinding him as he stepped. He could hardly make anything out amongst the screaming and fleeing Cookies, except - A demon. An angel? Tall as the rafters, wicked grinned, moving tentacles grabbing for flesh, glowing eyes and violently thrashing - There was no time. That Beast would not be defeated by him alone, he must scan for anyone trapped and escape himself. There were bodies under him. Dough was beginning to… Melt? As though it had never been baked at all, how could that be? They were alive just minutes ago. There was no crumbling, they were just… husks. Husks of women, elderly, children, so many children, oh Divines -
The Order has fallen, and he had work to do.

Madeleine Cookie in the aftermath of Premonition of Doom, and Espresso Cookie picking up a few of the pieces, more or less of his own will.
Written after the release of Premonition of Doom, but canon compliant. A getting together story, kind of. They don't communicate very well. Posting now in honor of sending the homosexuals to war!

“Actually, could you…keep playing?”
“What?” Klavier jerks to look at Apollo so fast, his blonde hair falls over his back. “You mean my guitar?”
Apollo nods and without opening his eyes, settles himself more comfortably against the glass. He sighs and that’s when Klavier notices the tension in his face, the discomfort that’s there, that’s been there probably, building all afternoon.
“It’s nice,” Apollo says like that’s all the explanation he needs to give.

Summary
He’s restless. He can’t seem to get comfortable, until Apollo rearranges the pillows behind him and once again brushes the hair out of his face, taking the hair tie that Klavier hands him and putting it up in a ponytail. The tenderness of it all, the sheer softness—it could make Klavier cry, especially when Apollo feels his temperature again and cups Klavier’s face with his hand.
“Will you let me stay and look after you?” Apollo asks. “I feel awful that I didn’t give you my coat earlier yesterday. This whole thing could have been prevented.”
When a snowstorm hits the crime scene he's investigating—in three-quarter length pants and a t-shirt—Klavier is freezing. And Apollo's coat seems so warm, it would be a shame not to take him up on the offer of wearing it.

Klavier smiled, "Mhm," but he winced as he heard the fragility in his own voice.
"Nightmare?" Apollo asked. He spoke without any judgement, yet shame sunk itself into Klavier's chest anyway.
