Summary
Light's starting to think that he shouldn't have said yes when B invited him over to have a quiet place to study. He shouldn't have listened when B had a secret to tell him either and he definitely shouldn't have agreed to go out in the woods with him. Because B is the person that taught him how to aim a rifle at something that wasn't on four legs, and he's the reason Light's out here in the April heat doing it right now, waiting for B to come back from the truck.
In Ste. Mary Magdalene Parish, Louisiana, throughout the late winter and early spring of 2004, people that no one should miss start disappearing. It isn't until crawfish season is in full swing that people begin to notice.

Light wants him dead. He doesn't care how, so long as it's him. Kira can't have L. He belongs to Light. With Light. Inside and all over him. He could cave L's head in with the safe that holds the keys to their handcuffs. Cup his hands and drink the blood and cerebral fluid that run from his split skull. Slick his hair back with it. Watch L twitch while he gets wrist-deep in his parietal lobe. If his erection flagged at any point, it's back in full force. He's so hard he's nauseous. His palms sweat.

Summary
An alternate take on what Light could have done leading up to his solitary confinement and the effects of that change on canon events.
Light sets himself up to look like he's having a nervous breakdown and erases his memories before turning himself in as opposed to after. The memory wipe also has a few side effects due to how much Light's life and thoughts revolved around the death note. Also I added some stuff I made up for fun and drama.
May end up including some lawlight because I truly cannot help myself, but that will not be tagged unless/until it appears.
