Tony felt bile rising up his throat. His hands began to shake, pain shooting through his left arm. He bit down on his tongue, grunting in pain as his breath became more erratic. 'I dont wanna go Mr. Stark, please' and 'I’m sorry', Peter’s words still lingered in the air, suffocating him.

Summary
It is a few hours into the night when Peter stirs for the first time.
“Ow…” The boy's hands wander clumsily towards his burnt face, on which blisters are beginning to show. Tony stops him in the air.
“Don’t touch, Peter. It's just gonna hurt more. You're okay.”
The boy is only half conscious, looking at him with wide, fever-glazed eyes. Tony uses the opportunity to bring the water bottle to Peter's lips and feed him a few sips.
“Just try to keep it down, okay? We don't have that much water left.”
Peter nods without seeming to understand, then his eyes drift close, and he sinks back into the sand. Tony sighs and leans against the broken part of the wing that serves as wall to their tiny shelter. He stretches out his injured leg, trying not to look too closely at the fresh trickle of blood the movement brings with it. He is deteriorating fast.

Summary
Written for this prompt on the Avengers kinkmeme (and first posted there): "The Avengers are trapped somewhere. A forest, a cave, whatever. Tony, who is hurt, traumatized, his arc reactor running low, MacGyvers some awesome shit and saves the day. The Avengers can only watch in awe."
The Avengers are stuck in a cave, and Tony, despite being essentially incapacitated by the loss of his suit, has a working plan to deal with this shit. So what if his team thinks he's only useful in the suit? And so what that they're not in life-threatening danger, the kind that Loki strews around himself like confetti? Tony is going to get them out of there by hook or by crook, because goddammit he hates caves, and no one else is coming up with a better plan. They're not in danger now, but time is running out. And if Tony has to damage himself to pull off his plan, well, them's the breaks.
Incidentally, Steve doesn't like it when Tony's damaged.
(Or: Stand back! Tony Stark's about to try science. Dangerous, self-sacrificing science.)

Summary
They were chasing Sam, trying to get him to stop flying away and Rhodey decided to end it quickly. He didn't want to hurt him, he obviously wouldn't want to hurt his team-mates too harshly, but if they didn't put a stop to this soon, things would escalate. It was with that thought in mind that Rhodey told Vision to hit Falcon's jet-pack and make him a glider. He didn't expect Sam to do an air-roll and escape it.
Battle instincts made him dive and escape the beam himself. Tony though, was a tad slower and Rhodey saw in horrifying terror as the red and gold suit fell from the sky.A CACW divergence, where Tony gets hit instead of Rhodey and how that changes the entire game.
