Summary
Charles Spring is a highly regarded professor and fighter for LGTBQIA+ rights, the latter causing trouble for him on the regular. This time, though, the letters he receives are threatening enough that the police deems it necessary to assign two police constables for his protection until his big speech in one week, which everyone hopes will make a serious difference to a gender-related law in the making. PC Jones will accompany Charlie during the day, while he will spend his nights with PC Nelson in his flat. The whole anxious situation would be a lot easier, if the two men just got along.

Summary

Summary
Nick’s waiting on the train platform when he gets the first text in a while: hey…, is all it says, and then he gets a photo of Charlie, nestled against his pillows, his face looking very cheeky. He must have just gotten back from his only lecture today. Nick takes a second to appreciate the photo (and to carefully save it to the Charlie folder in his camera roll), heart thumping a bit at the cute little quirk of his brow.
Before he can reply he gets another picture, this time faceless, taken from above and cut off at mid-chest: Charlie, in one of Nick’s oversized jumpers, rucked up so half his tummy is showing, and black briefs, all slim hips and pale skin. The light is gauzy and makes him look soft and cuddly. Or it would, except for the way that the whole thing is carefully calculated to drive Nick fucking crazy. Next to him on the mattress is one of their dildos: Charlie’s favorite, pink and medium-sized, with a bulbous head and a suction-cup at the base.
Baby he sends back, fingers a bit clumsy. I’ll be there soon. Just wait for me, okay?
