Satomi’s eyes were glossy, his face flushed a beautiful shade of pink, and a thick, sweet, strawberry scent spread throughout Kyouji’s apartment. He locked the door behind him, the resounding click echoing in Kyouji’s ears, and licked his moist lips, “Have you ever once looked at me, and thought that we could be something more?”
It was suffocating, and Kyouji could barely think straight. Satomi’s scent was delicious, making Kyouji’s mouth instantly water at the thought of clamping his mouth around Satomi’s gland, sinking his fangs into the delicate skin and marking him permanently. Claiming him, devouring him, absolutely ruining him.
Kyouji was a bad, bad man. Once he wanted something, he’d do everything in his power to obtain it.
And oh, how he wanted Satomi.

Perhaps it was fate that Hwang Inho got to meet Seong Gihun again. And again. And again. Sometimes, he would cross paths with him only once in that life – at the train station, at the bus stop, on the street – and other times, he would even strike up a conversation with him. In one life, Gihun was a model, and Inho got his autograph. In another, he offered to pay for Inho’s coffee that he spilled while bumping into him.
In some lives, Inho got lucky. They’d become acquaintances or friends. Inho would be a regular at the fried chicken shop that Gihun owned, or they were neighbours and drink together during the weekends.
But never, ever, did Inho ever get to be with Gihun and love him like how he always wanted to. Gihun would be out of his reach, or would be married to Kang Eunji, or dating Cho Sangwoo. Sometimes, Gihun would give him that look, the same one that he gave Youngil all those lifetimes ago, but it would never last. And in some lives, Gihun would die before Inho could even say something.
Despite everything, he’ll still love Gihun in every life, even if he can’t have him in any of them.

The taste of Kim Dokja’s lips against his, that sweet scent that permeated the air, the way Kim Dokja trembled in his arms and clung onto him, the heat exchanged between each alluring kiss.

Summary
In-ho is an ordinary political science professor at Seoul University who prefers his single life and has not been interested in relationships for many years now. He isn't very social and has little interest in socializing with anyone other than his family, until one day a famous photo model, Seong Gi-hun, bursts into his quiet life and all of a sudden In-ho has to deal with the fact that for some reason everyone is convinced that they are in a relationship. Including his family, coworkers, students, and... well, all of Korea at the very least.
When Gi-hun begs him to pretend their relationship is real, In-ho tries to refuse, but finds it beyond his powers when he sees the man's pleading look.

a great and well thought out and written fic!! I loved the characterizations and the pacing. the little clues that led up to the reveal and then the real reveal was wonderfully done. I gasped so hard when everything fell into place!!! the height of the killer and the possessive note and how he was always there somehow!!!!! and the romance and tension was so yummy! their first kiss had me giggling and kicking my feet hahah. you can really tell that the author put a lot of thought and effort into it, truly commendable. 100k words of awesome fic. wish I could read it again for the first time.

genuinely one of the best fics I’ve ever read. the tension and build up and denial and the reveal. the gut wrenching yearning. the proposal at the end, I’m going to throw up I was punching my pillow and screaming. the characterizations were so fun and felt so real. I can’t wait to read this again and again and again and again. this fic was just so damn good. why doesn’t this have more hits and kudos???? I hope the author knows that ill passionately make out with them. oh my god. I’m never going to emotionally recover from this fic.
