Taerae loves performing. He loves singing, loves being on stage, loves being able to see all his fans responding to his music. Which is why an incident like this one can throw him off so badly when it affects a show he was so excited to do.
And so Taerae needs to see the man who saved him again. Because he wants to thank him, and also because he… knows he’ll feel safe around him?
Which makes absolutely no sense, since Taerae is an extreme T and shouldn’t be hung up on silly things like feelings.
Or, he can reason with himself. He’s not chasing down a silly thing like feelings. He’s looking for the perfectly logical thing of security— Oh! Of course! Taerae could ask the guy to join his staff team, to work for him, to help keep him safe.

Matthew’s peering at the laptop screen, he spears a cube of apple on his plastic fork and brings it to his mouth.
Crunch.
Taerae might be imagining things, but he swears that even from that distance he’s able to see the juice that spurts out and trails down Matthew’s arm. Like he doesn’t know what it does to Taerae, Matthew nonchalantly brings his arm up to his mouth and licks the trail away.

“No,” Ricky says, perfectly put-together apart from having one sticky hand and a bulge in his pants.
“Someone had a run-in with our little friend downstairs,” Hao says airily, voice muffled in Hanbin’s chest.
“Wanna join?” Gyuvin asks, a little strained, still pumping his fingers.
“Matthew-yah,” Taerae gasps, making eye contact with Matthew, and comes untouched over his belly.

It’s been a little over a month since their failed Drift, twenty-eight days since The Incident, and three weeks since they’d last seen each other at all. “Hello” said Hanbin with a polite bow. “My name is Sung Hanbin. At your service, sir.”
He shook Hao's extended hand, his long fingers closing around Hanbin's glove. Hao blushed and smiled a bit too much. It was subtle, but a trained eye could notice it. If they had been in another situation and Hao happened to ask him out on a date, Hanbin would’ve said yes.
Hanbin pulled his hand back, a bit harshly, and Hao’s smile dimmed, just like the bodyguard’s barely appearing feelings for him.
___This new assignment feels like Hanbin's dream job. The ambassador's son is easy to follow around, doesn't resent having a bodyguard, and is even trying to be his friend. If anything, the hardest part of this job is that Zhang Hao is being too friendly.
