Summary
The boy stared back at him, and Dynamight was used to seeing the fear in constricted pupils, feeling the quaking terror of his victims before he finished them. He knew he cut a grotesque figure: a halo of black spikes protecting his exposed brain; the steel muzzle that completely obscured the lower half of his face; the tubes embedded into his arms and back, feeding into his muzzle and embedded beneath his skin, running frigid, purple, luminescent liquid that acted as a fuel and coolant to his augmentations.
The most common word humans prescribed to him was monster, but he’d been called by every name given to freakish, malformed creatures language had created.
There was no struggle. Now on the ground, the boy lay there, watching him with an eerie stillness. This boy looked at him with nothing. Well, not nothing. Dynamight could read his expression clearly.
Do it. Kill me.
A boy with nothing wants to live. A boy with everything wants to die. They find each other somewhere in the middle.

“May I have your name?”
The man’s expression pinched at the question, turning from a standoffish glare to very distinct distaste in the form of a sneer.
He took a moment to think over the question, and Shouto wondered if it was possible the creature forgot its own name. “Uh, fucking… Updog.”
“Updog.” He repeated, but he didn’t feel the soothing balm of magic settle over his tongue as he took the name. That was not this mortal’s true name.
The man was regarding him, nasty scowl still in place, a hint of anticipation in his squinted eyes.
“What’s Updog?” Shouto asked, curiosity at something unknown outweighing any irritation over the man’s… everything.
The mortal snorted.
“Busy working a job, now leave me the fuck alone.”
What in the seven hells?
Shouto is a faerie with a destiny. A grand destiny meant to end the world, but a destiny nonetheless, and there's nothing going to stop him from fulfilling it. Unfortunately, he didn't account for one Bakugou Katsuki to force his way into his life.

“According to you,” Shouto interjects. Bakugo’s eyebrow twitches.
“—but you were one of the only shitheads down there that seemed to care enough to want to do something about Deku,” Bakugo pauses, as if expecting Shouto to interrupt. He does not, because Bakugo is right and Shouto doesn’t want to tell him that.
“I’m going to go after him myself,” Bakugo says gruffly. “If you want to come along.”

Endeavor doesn't give Class 1-A the tracking device to find Midoriya Izuku after he leaves U.A., but Shouto and Bakugou decide to take matters into their own hands and bring back their friend. Neither of them realize just how fundamentally fucked things are beyond the U.A wall, and they have to navigate the apocalyptic villain-riddled city. "What” —Todoroki tightened his grip on the dagger— “does it do."
"Nothing life-threatening, depending on your actions." The magician sat down on the branch, observing him leisurely. "His Majesty wants to dissuade you from running away, not kill you."
"Get to the point." He sliced into one of the vines; enraged, the snagvine bit deeper into his ankle. Todoroki barely held back a hiss of pain.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you. They can be quite nasty," the magician continued. "Basically, you turn into a cat during the day."

The night he escapes from the castle, crown prince Todoroki Shouto finds himself cursed by the magician in his father's employ. Undeterred, Todoroki strikes up a deal of his own: kill the most powerful witch in the kingdom to have the curse broken.
There's just one small problem: he's somehow ended up as the familiar of the witch in question—Bakugou Katsuki.
