Summary
Hwang Minhyun’s return to Nu'est was supposed to be a masterpiece, but it is cut short by a career-destroying scandal that leaves the Nation's Emperor disgraced and broken.
Seongwu, known online to be Minhyun's biggest anti, and a closeted man himself, realizes that the price of getting what he wanted - Minhyun out of the group - is painfully costly to him and to the man he claims to hate. It only gets worse as his new term in college starts and he finds out that Hwang Minhyun, the disgraced idol himself, is his new roommate.
Living in the shadow of a tragedy he unwittingly helped amplify, Seongwu is forced to watch as the public's homophobia takes its toll on Minhyun. Slowly, it takes its toll on him, too, as his feelings for Minhyun change from hatred to a desperate urge to protect.
It was easy to hate a stranger; it's impossible to ignore the silence of the boy sleeping in the other room.

Summary

As he gets to know more about the god, and the ancient ache he feels in his chest whenever they're together intensifies, so does Minhyun's desire to set the god free.

Hoseok’s laughter is a little louder, this time; Namjoon still wants to noogie him for having fun at his expense, but for now he’s busier looking at the laugh lines on the elder’s face, his crinkled eyes and wide smile that always seems to take a bit of Namjoon’s breath away when it appears on his face. “It’s just a name, silly, what’s in it?”, he replies easily while Namjoon continues to stare at him; he pauses, then frowns. “Isn’t that, like, a Romeo and Juliet quote?“
He looks up and frowns harder, startling Namjoon a little, then laughs again. “Wait”, he says, pointing at Namjoon with his free hand. “You’re in a balcony. I’m outside. This is so romantic, the perfect opportunity.”
“Hoseok”, Namjoon kindly interrupts him, a fond smile on his face, “did you even read Romeo and Juliet?”

“What do you mean?”, Jaehwan asks carefully, “That dating app is meant for guys only.”
“I think you didn’t hear what I just said. It wasn’t a guy—one guy. It’s— six. Six guys. Your stupid fucking app set me up with six guys.”

Summary
Hoseok calls his strategy cheap, but Seokjin thinks he knows better; conditioning Yoongi into liking him through candy offers and psychological concepts sounds much better than charming him out of his pants through words and actions, at least to someone as inept at wooing people as Seokjin.
Alternatively: Seokjin’s crippling fear of rejection takes him to whole new levels of ridiculousness, Namjoon will do anything in the name of science, Yoongi is their test subject and Hoseok is just really, really tired.
