Summary
This story begins when the boys are 12 years old. When unlikely circumstances force the boys to work together they start to develop an unexpected friendship. As they grow up it develops into something more.
Jared and Jensen are inseparable and completely in love in high school, when the world around them breaks apart and Jensen disappears from Jared's life without a single word.
10 years later they accidently meet again and they both realize they still can't let go of each other. Now that they are two very different people, can they work out their problems and give themselves another chance? Or will history repeat itself and tear them apart forever?

Summary
Jared was beginning to think that, given some time, they could really come together as an awesome band. Sure, they were all very different people - different personalities, different backgrounds, different specializations. And yet, they were also alike in a lot of ways. They had a love of music and performance in common, for one thing. Blending their talents together into a successful group would take effort and a willingness to compromise, not to mention, a lot of hard work, like Tahmoh had told them the first time they met. Jared hoped they had the perseverance to see it through.

Summary
Jensen has never gotten over the loss of Colin, his childhood friend and only love, who died tragically. The only things he has left of his lost love are an old picture, the ring he gave Colin, and the child they had together. Jensen was never able to love again, he married only for convenience and enlisted himself in the army to try and have a purpose in life. After Jensen’s wife leaves him, he needs to find nanny after nanny to help take care of his younger children but none of them last long, apparently not able to handle Jensen’s tough personality. Jensen just can’t help it, his heart has been ripped from his body, and his soul was shattered irrevocably the moment Colin stopped breathing, leaving Jensen only a shell of a man with a stone interior.
Miles away, Jared grew up in a monastery after being abandoned by his mother. The time is coming for him to take the vows and become a monk, but Jared knows there’s another call in his heart. He must decide to either stay forever or leave the only home he has ever known because he feels there’s somewhere else he needs to be and someone out there is waiting for him. And Jared hopes he can finally find out why he keeps dreaming about a very peculiar rose.
