Summary
According to Hyde, the best way to eat ice cream is with freshly baked melon pan. Tetsuya doesn’t disagree.
Back when Hyde first moved to Osaka, he would wander the streets after band practice and grab a freshly baked melon pan with a slab of cold ice cream inside. Later, when Tetsuya finally convinced him to join his band, his new band leader would join him. It was cheap and delicious and Hyde would watch Tetsuya lick the melted ice cream from his wrist before dragging him to the nearest love hotel.
It is a hot summer this year — at the tail end of August in Tokyo — and they are both sweaty and sticky as Hyde pants against Tetsuya’s back. The perfect kind of day for ice cream.

He must fall asleep at some point, because he wakes to rain thrashing against the windows beside his head, with a sore back and a slight twinge in his neck. Die's still fast asleep against his chest, hand curled in his shirt, hair falling across his face. He's going to be so pissed when he wakes up and realizes he hadn't at least put it up, Kyo thinks, amused.
Kyo passes a sleepy hand across Die's hair, smoothing the strands back behind his ear. Die doesn't stir. Kyo watches him for a few moments, something warm and soft radiating and rippling out in his chest as he strokes his thumb along Die's cheek. He could get used to this.

Hyde sighs and tips Tetsuya’s chin up. Tetsuya doesn’t like sweets. He especially doesn’t like anything too rich, says his stomach can’t handle it. And yet…
“Swallow,” Hyde says softly, not quite a demand, watching as Tetsuya licks his lips with a dazed, pleased expression.
