“We shouldn’t,” Will said, barely audible.
“So tell me to stop,” Mike murmured, close enough that their lips brushed with every word.

Will Byers arrives at California-Davis Campus after repeating a year in Hawkins High. He’s excited to reunite with his friends, but the thought of meeting Mike after their last awkward interaction makes him… nervous.
But there was nothing to be worried about, right?
Because Mike was happy with El.

Summary
The person Will once was no longer exists. At least, so it seems to Mike, who, after meeting him with years of no contact behind them, notices the changes right away. The words Will says to him do not make sense and hurt everything inside; they try to erase Mike from the other's life.
And Mike almost lets them, until the same night Will says that he hates him and would rather Mike die than see his face ever again.
And there, Mike realises something's wrong with Will.
He's not sure when it started, what led to it, or what could possibly cause it, since they defeated Mind Flayer and closed the gate. However, he knows one thing for sure: Will is not himself and probably is possessed again.
Only with further events unfolding before him does he lose the thread of logic in those. New York has lots of weird shit to offer, it turns out.
So, he'll find out the truth whether or not his friends share his beliefs equally.

Summary
Will has a problem. His sex life with Carlton has gone nearly nonexistent, and he realizes his darker desires can’t be met with him. He eventually comes to the conclusion that he’ll just have to get over it.
But then one night, while Carlton is gone, Mike shows up at his door to apologize for past mistakes… and things take an interesting turn.

Mike blinked, his heart hammering against his ribs. “What…?”
Will let out a sharp, impatient sound — nearly a growl. “Kiss me, Mike!”
When Vecna traps Will inside the labyrinth of his own mind, the supernatural cold radiating from him serves as a hollow reminder: the Mind Flayer still claims his body. But what begins as an act of salvation spirals into something far more intimate — heat becomes the only weapon they have against the rot clinging to Will's veins. If this were a dream, Mike never wanted to wake up, because only there could he play the prince and save his lover's life.
