“What distinction was there between life and death then? Xiao had lived days when he seemed to be dead—when his old master told him to slaughter he would slaughter, he swallowed the sweet dreams of others but it was akin to swallowing his own flesh and blood, his breath always mixed with the scent of gore, he was turned into a twisted evil ghost. But he had also lived days where he was on the brink of death but lived on—the medicine a single thread tethering his life, a single thread of Dijun’s (Rex Lapis) grace holding onto his corrupted soul, it seemed as if he closed his eyes he would stop breathing and yet always he would see the second day’s sunlight. He could not understand, he could not fathom, Xiao lived for so long but he was only surviving, and didn’t learn anything from the time he had so much of.”
In which Xiao has many thoughts on his birthday, and Zhongli waits for him for over six hours with a plate of almond tofu. This is a deep dive into Xiao’s psychology and relationship with his past, with Liyue, and with his god.

Summary
This is a translation of the oneshots by 碗精 wan3 jing1 (bowl spirit) on lofter. This author has written many oneshots about Xiao (and XiaoVen), which I will post as chapters in this fic.
First oneshot excerpt:
“Paper kites are actually very blissful,” Venti said, one hand shading his eyes. “They can fly very high, and freely see so many scenes, but still have a safe harbor to return to.”
Xiao turned to look at him, and the other laughed softly, passing the kite spool into his hand. “The kite will fly out of your hand, and return to your hand.”
Venti turned back to him and said softly, “The wind longs for you, and is willing to linger for you. It is just that now is not the right time.”

Lan Wangji is a pseudo-reincarnation of a martial god from the previous heavenly "dynasty". There's something going on with the new Heavenly Court, and the Qishan Wen Sect is up to something. If only he remembered who he was, maybe he'd be able to solve both problems.
No TGCF knowledge necessary! This fic is MDZS cast in a fusion MDZS and TGCF setting. Plot is also a combination of MDZS and TGCF, mostly MDZS in the current section, the TGCF sections will come later.

Summary
This is my translation of a very famous fic that was originally posted on Baidu Tieba in either 2017 or 2018 I think, and influenced a good deal of fanon. The original Chinese is meant to imitate a more ancient and poetic phrasing, and is a letter from Lan Wangji to Wei Wuxian during those thirteen years of his death.
In recent days I dream often, frequently unable to fall asleep at night, and during the day my mind is in a trance, whether reading books or practicing qin I cannot focus.
The sounds of Wangji-qin echo, but there is no one to duet with, I only play emptily to the wind half a song of Inquiry. Wanting to ask, are you there? Where are you? Can you return? All without answer.Series

Summary
I saw a post on Tumblr about the Dreamon throwing Dream out of his body like Bill and Dipper from Gravity Falls and I lost my mind so here it is.
After an exorcism gone wrong Dream is forced to watch as the Dreamon in his body ruins the lives of his friends and family. His relationships are in shambles and his friends are being hurt. Even if he gets his body back, he's not sure things can go back to how they used to be.
