Summary
"Cold concrete isn’t exactly what Soma had in mind when he made this plan. Granted, he didn’t have much time to actually make the plan, but he would have preferred something a bit more comfortable if he’d had his way. He makes a mental note to arrange something better when he gets the chance, his own body starting to ache as he watches Akutsu’s chest rise and fall with heavy sleep on the floor.
He closes the barred door, rattling as it shuts flush with the rest of the iron bars that line the cell. The lock clicks sharply when he turns the key, its clatter echoing through the hollow little corridor like it wants to make sure Soma hears it—really hears it. It wants Soma to understand what it means.
And he does. All too well, he does.
It means he’s locked away the only person he’s ever loved, and if he were smart enough, he’d throw away the key.
But of course, he wouldn’t. He couldn’t.
After all, he was only a man."

Summary
Poised, elegant, disciplined and practically radiating holiness would be a few words to describe a paladin worthy of the Scion's title of "Warrior of Light" but it's far from what they got: a loud-mouthed, sinful and swearing spur-clad country girl with a good heart and even better sense of duty from the dust and sands of Southern Thanalan. She may not be the hero that they -or the world- envisioned but deep down, she's the one they need.
This work of fiction is narrated (mostly) from my WoL's perspective through her journey from ARR all the way up to SHB, including some of her own backstory and personal connections. For the most part, her story follows in-between main story quests and focuses more on her personal development and relationships and those of her friends/comrades in response to those events. My memory is a little hazy about the specifics of the storyline but I hope you enjoy it all the same! Lastly and most importantly, I wrote this work of fiction as a way to work through and deal with my own trauma responses that came with the FFXIV storyline so I ask you to please be mindful. <3 Thank you <3

Summary
Tribe nights always lead to trouble. Chloe should know better than to let her friends drag her to Lux for a girl’s night out, yet there she is, having to watch Lucifer flirt with his latest fling. She’s had enough, and alcohol clearly does her no good when it comes to keeping her feelings hidden. Or maybe, a disastrous drunken speech might lead her right to the breakthrough she needs.
Or, Chloe drunkenly confesses her feelings for Lucifer without realising he’s listening.

Summary
Not with a bang, but not with a whimper either. It turned out the end didn’t come for Spike at all.
He had said he wasn’t going to meet Vicious to die and that hadn’t been a total lie, but Spike had still expected to find an answer, or finality in some form. Only it hadn’t come. After everything he had gone through, it hadn’t come. He thought he had climbed all the way to the top of the staircase, but the only thing waiting for him was a false step that he’d gone tumbling through, all the way down to the bottom again, like it was a great cosmic game of snakes and ladders.

Spike, Faye, Jet and the aftermath. Or, what happens when time keeps on going despite everything.
