Summary
The tenuous peace in the city-state of Nostrum is being threatened by the spread of an arcane narcotic named Soul Haze. Its origins are a mystery. No fabricators, distributors, or dealers have been found. The drug, a crimson vapor within a little glass vial, seems to be delivered magically through untraceable means.
When inhaled, Soul Haze heightens the senses of its user to unnatural degrees, especially touch. The most common use of the drug is during sexual situations, delivering pleasure in unimaginable levels.
However, continuous use of this highly addictive narcotic may result in a sensory overload from which the user might not come back from, keeping them in a state of uncontrollable lust called a “Haze Frenzy”. New cases of this affliction seem to crop up daily, crowding Nostrum's hospitals. Rehabilitative treatments exist, yet while the Soul Haze continues to spread, they are temporary measures at best.
The Fountainkeepers, the city-state's law enforcement, have their hands full in solving this crisis. However, their captain has one last ace up her sleeve. The dubious team of Nostrum's newly established Pathfinder lodge has been dispatched to end the Soul Haze's hold over Nostrum once and for all.

Summary
Julie had poor luck with online dating. Boring guys, hyper-needy assholes, supposed "open-minded" girls who were only interested in dating her to satisfy their curiosity on having sex with a girl. She swore to herself this would be the last date she'd go on; the last attempt at romance after one long slog of failures.
The new date turned out to be interesting, miraculously. Passably handsome too, with a voice you could easily listen to as a podcast for hours. A would-be psychologist aspiring to become a specialized therapist, working his way through his Master's Degree. He was looking for a partner who could help him to relax.
If only she knew exactly what he meant by that.
