Summary
The rain from earlier now came down in sheets, each droplet landing with a dull thud that filled the silence of the room. Blue light from the bathroom cast Emily in neon, her red hair haloed at the edges as she propped herself on one elbow, lying on her side to face Andrea.
Her lipstick had been kissed off, hair wrecked. Eyeshadow smudged, lips bitten and red. Pale cheeks dusted with leftover blush, chest rising and falling in quick succession - still catching her breath.
She stared at Andrea, her expression a tangle of horror, arousal, and anger.
Andy’s shirt had been discarded some time ago, but her ugliest garment, the cat pyjamas, somehow remained, rubbing Emily’s bare legs where they intertwined.
OR - The fic where Andrea finds out Emily works a second job as a yoga instructor and they slowly realise they like each other.

Summary
Emily is her friend. Emily is - as far as Andy knows, and she thinks she knows more than enough - absolutely straight. Emily has two children and an important job and little to no spare capacity for anything else.
Andy should really know better than this.

Summary
“Why on earth did I call her?” Emily thinks out loud and sighs. The truth is, it’s been 20 years, 20 years trying to erase Andrea from the back of her mind, where she seems to live rent free. She almost made it, almost forgot about those brown eyes, but even in her happiest moments (especially on those, actually), she remembered that sincere smile and wished she could see it once again.

Andrea lives the life she wanted, even though she struggles to make ends meet.

Between sarcasm, guilt, and small daily gestures, both slowly learn that surviving doesn't necessarily mean being okay, and that letting someone help can be much harder than asking for help.or
Emily Charlton survived.
The problem is that now she has to learn to live afterward.
And Andrea Sachs, who should have left everything behind a long time ago, decides to stay instead.[English isn't my native language.
