Summary
“Didn’t order any pizza.” Leon quipped, taking a slow breath. “Most people give some notice before showing up this late at night.”
He turned the door handle, gun ready to defend him from whatever could be outside.
He had half expected Chris, maybe Sherry or even Claire, or at least someone from town who needed something.
Not dark hair shiny from the rain, sharp features he still sometimes saw in his dreams that would leave him empty in the morning.
“And most people don’t answer the door with a handgun.” A smooth voice came, the smirk heard even if not visible. “Hello, Leon. It’s nice to see you, too.”
Ada Wong.
It’s been 32 years since Raccoon City. 2 years since any last remnants of the Umbrella Corporation, its rivals, and all B.O.W.s were destroyed. 15 years since Leon Kennedy had last seen or heard from Ada Wong. Suddenly, she shows up at his door in the small town of Millbrook, where they’re both retired and both having nothing else to do with their lives. In their early fifties now, Leon and Ada finally get to explore the kind of people they might’ve been and the kind of people they could be together.

Summary
“So... how did you guys meet?”
“Back in Raccoon city actually. 1998.”
Grace nearly dropped her spoon as she stared at him, momentarily convinced she'd misheard because Raccoon City wasn't just some random place or year in his life, it was the night, the single catastrophic night that had changed everything for him and marked the beginning of the nightmare he'd spent nearly three decades carrying on his shoulders.
And if he'd met Ada there, during that one night out of all nights, then that meant they had known each other for....
Twenty eight years....
Or, the one where Grace and Emily are invited over at the Kennedys/Wongs house for the first time.

Summary
“Who are you?” She could barely hear her own words as he gave her a gentle smile, the one which reminded her of 1998 when he had saved her and refused to let her go alone. But it was somehow more affectionate if it was even possible.
No, Leon did not look at her like that. Not anymore.
“You know who I am, Ada. I am just not from around here…” he shook his head, trying his best to explain himself.
Or, after a job leaves Ada injured, she runs into Leon in the middle of nowhere, except this version of him is nothing like the man she remembers from Spain.
