Midoriya flinched as Aizawa's fingers gently swept over the irritated, swollen redness on his knuckles. Biting back a whimper, Izuku exclaimed, "I-it's fine! Only hurts a little, I don't even need to go to Recovery Girl!"
Charcoal eyes narrowed at his obvious floundering. His sensei's knees cracked as he stood, a heavy sigh leaving him once he was straightened.
"Problem Child, I barely touched you. We're going to Recovery Girl," His tone was final as he began walking to the door, only stopping to glare over his shoulder sternly, beckoning for the child to follow.
Izuku wilted, face morphing into a defeated grimace.

Summary
Izuku tries his best to hide how badly the aftermath of the war is affecting him.
The nightmares, the lack of sleep, the skipped meals, the slipping grades —he buries all of it under forced smiles and tired excuses.
Most importantly: Katsuki can’t find out.
What sweet Deku didn’t account for, however, "Kacchan Bakugo" has always been far too observant when it comes to him.
He notices the dark circles, the flinching, the way Izuku’s hands shake after training. And once Katsuki realizes something is wrong, he refuses to let it go.
Izuku does his best to deny everything and avoid him — though that becomes a lot harder when even his quirk decides to act up against his will.Eventually, Katsuki corners him after another uncontrolled outburst, demanding fucking answers.

Summary
He counts down in his head, waiting out Shigaraki’s movements. Shigaraki inches nearer, two fingers on Asui’s face, then three. Shouta holds his breath, readying his quirk. At the fourth finger he lets it activate, pleading with his body to not blink, to never blink.
But then there’s a blur of green and a splash, and Midoriya is where Asui once was. It throws his timing off. Shouta blinks, opening his eyes just in time to see the fifth finger land around Midoriya’s throat.
Time slows down, as if to mock him. Shouta can’t make out Midoriya’s pained cry, can’t hear Asui’s uncharacteristic curse through the pounding of his blood in his ears. The only thing he can do, with the last beats of his consciousness, is watch in slow motion as the skin and muscle unravel from Midoriya’s throat. Glassiness blooms in Midoriya’s eyes as his body falls into the water, limp. Shouta’s heart leaps and sticks in his throat. Overcome with the knowledge that even in his last moments, his sacrifice wasn’t enough to save Midoriya, Shouta shuts his eyes.
Or...Izuku's feet move on his own at the USJ and he takes Shigaraki's quirk for Tsu. His death is and is not what it seems.
