Summary
Izuku is technically a runaway, not technically homeless, was adopted by cats, and doesn't get enough human interaction.
He has eaten things he'd rather not think about, accidentally done some vigilantism, has a maybe slightly forced positive disposition, and a grand total of two motivations in life that keep him laser-focused on the future instead of processing his daily hardships in any capacity -- healthy or otherwise.
He's got his work cut out for him, but he's never had a better chance to be a hero.
He thinks he's doing pretty well, all things considered. Despite his circumstances and the lies he must tell to make his dreams happen, nothing will distract him from it. Not even the tired scowl of a cat-loving, too-sharp teacher with a built-in bullshit detector, honing in on him from day one.
Or
Izuku lives a tough life after his mom dies, and being a magnet for trouble, he doesn’t have time to think about anything except his next meal and the roof over his head, using his quirk to survive while he strives to follow his dream of being a hero. Lucky for him, he has an innate gift for being adopted by anything with a parental instinct. Whether it's a clowder of cats or a pro hero.

Summary
Quirks: A genetic mutation in the human body first discovered somewhere around 200 years ago. The first recorded case, a young boy whose body began emanating a bright light one day. Before quirks developed humans had always been fascinated with the idea of superpowers. Pre-quirk media portraying everyday superheroes possessing super strength or enhanced speed. Nobody really knows how or why the sudden anatomical evolution came to be. But with time, quirks became commonplace among all walks of society.
Izuku Midoriya patiently awaits the manifestation of his quirk. Thankfully, he doesn't have to wait long. But it's not quite the quirk he expected. Still, it's a quirk. And a cool one at that. Maybe he just should have been more careful with it.

Summary
“Ambidextrous, princess, it’s what makes me so good with my hands.” Eddie wiggled his fingers.
“You mean for guitar?” Steve asked, completely missing the innuendo, and also nearly knocking Eddie flat at the thought that Steve Harrington knew he played guitar.
“You stalking me or something?” Eddie asked.
Steve frowned. “Uh, no, but your band played in the middle school talent show, it’s pretty hard to forget a thirteen year old screaming death metal before his voice dropped.”
Eddie almost laughed at that. Almost. “You saying I’m unforgettable, princess?”
“If that’s how you want to take it, Munson."
Eddie realized this was turning towards something far more dangerous than taunting a boy known for getting into fights, like flirting with a very, very straight boy known for getting into fights.
OR
After the events of season three Steve shows up on Eddie's doorstep asking for a tattoo... and then keeps showing up much to the dismay of Eddie's traitorous heart.Series

Summary
If one thing is taken seriously by the athletes of Hawkins High, it's a wager. The craziest, most impossible bets, dares, and pranks live in infamy. The stupid teenagers involved? They are legendary. The 1984-85 school year is no exception. No bet is made casually, no dare given lightly, and no prank is half-assed.
Steve Harrington, Senior Captain of the Hawkins Basketball team, wakes up on a dewy September morning hungover and with blurry memories. All he knows is that he made a bet and he lost. The consequences? Steve must be a cheerleader for the entire Hawkins football season.
Humiliated to his core, Steve cannot avoid his punishment, lest he face much more serious consequences. Luckily, he has an ally in Chrissy Cunningham and her band friends. Robin Buckley seems nice. Eddie Munson? Well, he's interesting to say the least.
