Summary
Her book goes flying out of the way when a shadow plops into the bathtub with her. She scrambles to pay attention, watching the suds of soap and scents tumble and pour out of the bathtub from impact, and she finds herself reaching into the water just to find out what is on her legs. She feels an ear— two, actually— with little claws at her kneecaps pushing up to resurface.
“Chat? Chat? How did you even fall in?” She grabs for the little kitty in the tub with her, securing her grip underneath what should be his armpits. But she doesn’t realize that he could, after all, just… transform back to normal at the worst time. And he does, filling the bathtub with his true weight and size, staring at her with a blush and a beautiful laugh. Her familiar is a man. A handsome one. One that stops and stares and smiles.
“You are so lovely up close and nude,” he tries, when her nose starts to twitch in quiet embarrassment. “Mind if I join you?”
