Love and sin get mixed up easily. It’s easy to ignore sin in the face of love, especially in fiction, where people ignore the most heinous acts so that they can be with the one they love, even if it means death. This was a common theme in manga and webcomics, where love would cloud the minds of the female leads and lead them to their demise. You thought it was ridiculous, although, from your standpoint, it wasn’t as if you’d ever have to live through it regardless. The manga was far from reality, so it was never much of a concern. But when you wake up in an unfamiliar bed with strangers around you and a looming death sentence over your head, suddenly it is very much your problem.
The question is, do you play along with the plot or try to turn things around?

Sometimes you have to wonder if the universe is looking out for you or trying to drive you mad.
