****HACKS LAWYER AU WITH A BUNCH OF CANON MOMENTS****
This work is my exploration of deeply complicated relationships and people. The relationships that hurt as much as they heal. The ones that can be toxic AF, and yet we run back to. It's about the ones who choose to work out their shit, and learn what is worth compromising on and what is not. It's about self exploration, reflection, and learning when to pivot, stand your ground, and when to fight harder. It might be a bit of a meat grinder, but I promise the end will be worth it.
Deborah Vance has it all. A successful law-firm, more money than she can count, a beautiful mansion... What more could she ask for? She has one big problem though, and that is of course, Ava Daniels. Her ex-associate/protege had blown up any chance at reconciliation. When Deborah gets an update from Josefina that Ava is not doing well and that it is her fault, she spirals. Through some digging she discovers that Ava has a side hustle that makes her question everything she had ever thought about her, and her own sexuality.
This is an Alternate Universe where I pluck random canon events that I just absolutely adore into a fresh new world. -

Summary
“I think you’re being difficult,” Ava says, all worked up like a child with hurt feelings. “I hope your husband hurries up and pays us so you can get the hell out of here.”
“Oh, honey. My husband won’t be paying anything,” Deborah says, sharply. “We’re long divorced, and he’s long dead.”

Or: After a lukewarm set in Boston, Deborah finds herself held hostage by a family desperate for money. The youngest of the bunch, Ava Daniels, may be her only key to escape. -

Summary
In the aftermath of a shattered table and an unforgiving silence, something between them begins to shift—subtle at first, then seismic. What follows is a slow unraveling of defenses, loyalties, and the illusion that ambition alone can hold them together. Across hotel rooms, long drives, sleepless nights, and studio floors, they navigate the tension between what’s said and what’s meant, what’s wanted and what’s allowed.
From the spark of reconciliation to the edge of something irreversible, this is the story of what builds beneath the surface—one look, one line, one impossible choice at a time.Series

Summary
(Rio discovers Beth faked the pregnancy and forces her to actually get pregnant by threatening to kill her if she refuses.)
Beth Boland thought she understood survival ,until one desperate lie changed everything.
Cornered by Rio, the man who once held a gun to her head, she said the first thing that could save her life: “I’m pregnant.”
Rio ; a man built from cold steel and quiet rage believes her.
When he learns Beth faked the pregnancy and the miscarriage, his heartbreak curdles into fury.
He confronts her not just with violence, but with the one thing she can’t outrun: her own guilt.
What began as a lie for survival becomes a debt she can never repay.
Rio spares her life , but not her freedom. His mercy comes with a price.
Now, Beth faces an impossible ultimatum: give him the life she lied about... or lose her own.
As their worlds spiral into a dangerous dance of power, guilt, and unspoken desire, the line between punishment and possession blurs.
Every moment together burns with the question neither dares to voice:
Is this retribution... or something darker binding them both?
One lie bought her time.
Now it’s demanding to be born.
