Summary
Jackie is her choom and because of this she knows he likes to brush through the awkward parts; he avoids arguments with jokes, he side passes her annoyance with an off hand comment, and when they really get into it he gives at least a day's worth of space before hitting her line. So, if this gets swept under the bed alongside so many other odds and ends, so be it.

Thinking about them now puts a small ache in his heart. Much as he loves being greeted by them when he comes back from somewhere, he’d known it would most likely be a late night, so he’d made them both promise—pinky promise, scout’s honor, cross their hearts and everything—that they wouldn’t wait up for him. They’d both had long days of their own (Parker had spent the majority of her time scuttling around in the air vents and Hardison had been on the grift with Soph), so they both needed sleep and they needed it bad. Before he’d left, he’d told them he’d kill ’em if he came home and they were still up.
But hopefully that won’t be necessary. He’ll just have to see what awaits him. Gently, he unlocks the door and pushes it open, and— Well, shoot. The TV’s on, and Thing 1 and Thing 2 are on the couch, their heads leaning against each other’s.
Damn. That’s too bad. He was kinda starting to like them.
