They were only two weeks into their courting process when Buck received his second gift from Eddie, and it was a sweater, wrapped with a bow and left in his jeep after a long shift. He was giddy as he got in and picked up the piece of clothing, his hands glossing over the soft fabric. He quickly undid the bow and Eddie’s scent filled the jeep. Cinnamon, roasted whiskey and something woody that he couldn’t place but loved all the same.

“Ha, take that!” Emma shouts, and Jonah turns his attention back to the large screen in front of them.
“Shit,” Jonah mutters under his breath. “Don’t tell Garrett,” he says louder, as the realisation that a twelve year old has beaten him at a video game dawns.
“Language,” Emma says teasingly. “If you’re not careful, I’ll have to report you to your floor supervisor.”
Jonah sticks his tongue out at her in response.
