“You asked the serving girl,” Valarr said, though his voice was tight. “I was worried you’d ask me.”
“Do you want me to ask you?” Daeron leaned in slightly.Valarr simply came to tell Daeron he'd not be able to drink with him tonight. He didn't expect Daeron to be in the bath when he got there.

Daeron has never seen Aerion so subdued — didn’t even know he could be tamed like this — and it kindles something restless and needful in his blood; a hot fire stoking low in his belly, the thrill of taboo, and stolen power, and the promise of a good fuck. He knows they should not do this, that wine has warped his judgement and that it will be awful come the sobering dawn, but his desire is heedless, and greedy.
Aerion means to make a sister-wife of his brother (at least for a night) but Daeron ends up bitching his bratty sibling instead
