"Should I be worried?" Minho drawls, dry but laced with curiosity. "You've got that plotting look."
Jisung throws a grin over his shoulder, eyes glinting. "I told you—I found something."
“Is it edible?” Minho asks, a hopeful lilt sneaking into his tone, making him sound unexpectedly boyish.
"Better," Jisung says, and it bursts out almost as a laugh, bright and breathless. He can't say more—won't spoil the movement—so he just shakes his head and leads Minho on, tugging him with the energy of a current too strong to resist.

Summary
As the song trickles to an end and Minho comes back to talk about whatever—at this point Jisung is too distracted to think straight or process what Minho is saying—Jisung makes up his mind.
He copies the number on the screen of his tablet to his phone and, without a moment of hesitation, pulls one of his earphones out and makes the call go through.
(Minho’s radio program is Jisung’s source of comfort and the only thing that lets him sleep at night. That is, until Minho starts talking shit about Jisung’s team.)

In his kingdom, alpha pairs are… tolerated in silence at court, sometimes joked about in private. But it’s not discussed openly.
Alphas are meant to lead. Their role is to protect the more gentle gender, reproduce and provide safety for their family. Any deviation is frowned upon— especially by a prince.
So it doesn’t matter if Minho thinks Prince Jisung is the most beautiful person he has ever seen, because he doesn’t make his own choices, and he’s not allowed to form an opinion that doesn't match the unspoken rules of his kingdom.
Or: Prince Minho is ordered by his father to make a diplomatic visit to another kingdom. There, he discovers magic, fate, and, most importantly, himself.

Summary
Love, back then, felt like standing on an unstable surface and pretending not to notice.
With Jisung, everything is simple. Steady. Light. Easy. Minho isn’t anxious. He isn’t scanning conversations for hidden meanings. He doesn’t rehearse future outcomes in his head. He just feels fine.
And fine, he thinks, has never been how love felt.
So it can’t be love.
Or, Jisung’s relationship is quietly falling apart, so he tries to hold it together with small gestures like buying flowers from a strange, too perceptive florist who keeps asking the wrong questions at the right time.
