Summary
A flash flood descended upon the rumor mill the moment a clear image of the Symbol of Hope's gloveless left hand was placed next to one of the Symbol of Victory's chest online. When Katsuki shouted, "So fucking what we got married?! Lay off!" at a journalist who'd taken to cornering them immediately post-villain apprehension, a typhoon carried it clean off the hub.
Izuku never blamed people for thinking they were… secret childhood sweethearts, or whatever, seeing as they moved in together immediately after getting their diplomas and turned up hitched six months after that. Were Izuku on the other side of the gossip, he's sure he'd arrive at the same, logical conclusion—but the conclusion he prefers is the one that's true and, by circumstance, is the one that's just for Katsuki and him.

Katsuki and Izuku tie the knot soon after graduating from UA. It's strictly for the legal privileges that come with marriage, but the social game demands to be played, too.

Katsuki’s eyes snapped open.
For a moment, all he could do was stare at the gray sky above him, his thoughts sluggish and unfocused. He exhaled sharply through his nose and pushed himself upright with a grunt, soggy grass bending beneath his palms. His eyes widened as they landed immediately on Deku, who was sitting right in front of him.
Freckled cheeks rosy from the cold. Curly hair tousled from the wind. A flicker of something dangerously close to intrusive curiosity crossed his stupid face.
"What?" Katsuki barked.

After the war, the world is left to recover, and so are they. Izuku and Katsuki have to face the aftermath of everything they’ve lost, everything they’ve survived, and the bond they’ve spent years avoiding. Between hero work, recovery, and their last two years at U.A., they’re learning how to heal. Even if it is a little messy.

He means it as a joke. It's so absurd that it couldn't be anything other than a joke. And he knew exactly how Izuku would respond. He would roll his eyes and groan and shove him and blush and say, Kacchan, you can't just say things like that!
But that's not what happens. Instead, Izuku's whole face goes paper white before turning bright red again so suddenly that Katsuki's almost afraid he's going to pass out on him. Izuku is silent.
Holy shit.
Katsuki does something he can't take back.
