“Deku.”
Something’s wrong. Izuku knows right away from the tone of his voice. He bolts up to look at Katsuki.
“Kacchan,” Izuku says. Katsuki blinks at him slowly. He’s pale, struggling to keep his eyes open. All the adrenaline of the mission courses back through Izuku’s body in an instant. Shit. Shit. He scrambles closer. “Kacchan, hey, look at me.”

“What?” Atsumu says, looking even more confused than Hinata feels. When would Kageyama have started dating? Why wouldn’t he have told him? Does he even have room for romance in his stupid volleyball-filled brain? “Shou-kun, you’re dating Tobio-kun."

Summary
Nishinoya’s been talking to a girl tonight, which he does on occasion while they’re traveling. Asahi’s sampling a slew of different wines on the menu—three glasses, so far, with a fourth on the way, because the bartender recommended them all so effusively he couldn’t bring himself to choose. He does this on fewer occasions than Nishinoya does the flirting thing, so the weird feeling in his stomach can only be his own fault. Nishinoya’s been picking up languages like loose change lately, so his Korean is more than passable enough to flirt with her, to make her laugh, to buy her a drink, and really it’s all quite sweet. Asahi would have no right to feel bad about it even if that was something he was inclined to do.

It’s an obvious lie. Clearly, whatever it is that Yu is mulling over, it’s not something that he wants to share with Yosuke. And Yosuke gets it, he really does. People need their space. But it could also mean that Yu doesn’t trust Yosuke enough to share, or that he’s thinking about Yosuke himself, an idea that twists Yosuke’s stomach and makes it a little hard to breathe.
“Out with it,” Yosuke barks. He tries to reel it back in, but Yu’s eyes are wide. “I mean, I just feel like there might be something you want to say.”
OR:
Yosuke’s trying to become a better friend. Unfortunately for him, saying a bunch of homophobic things won’t make your closeted partner open up. The camping trip retold for the 1000th time. It has a happy ending, I promise.
