“I’m fine,” V insisted weakly.
“Cut the shit, V. Where the hell are you?”
V let out a long, tired breath. There was no point in arguing…she knew Judy would just hack into her phone’s location software and track her down anyway. And besides…the longer they talked, the more V wished she was here, wished she could just sit with her, even for a few minutes.
“I’m at Vik’s,” she sighed finally. “Through the alley, take the elevator up to the roof.”
“I’ll be there in five minutes,” Judy replied, and with that the line went dead.

“Where to, Cap?”
Natasha turned around again to glance back at Steve. He was staring blankly ahead of him, the answer he was struggling with written plainly on his face. Finally he turned, eyes falling on Wanda and Vision in the corner.
“Home,” he answered.
“You sure?” Sam replied. Sam would do anything for Steve, but walking right into the Avengers headquarters in New York with the government still searching for them after two years was a lot to ask.
But where else would they go? Thor was gone. Tony was missing. And whoever or whatever had started this wasn't going to give up now. Steve glanced over at Natasha, and she guessed he was debating the same thing. He frowned a bit, and she nodded.
