    Summary

Stelle frowns, crosses her arms. “Why would the IPC sue our cute little establishment anyway?” They aren’t even aware of this planet, for Aha’s sake.

For a moment, Dan Heng’s face twists in such a way that she seriously considers texting Phainon to ask if the people of Amphoreus could lend them some Xanax or some edibles or something, but Dan Heng doesn’t start crying, nor does he spontaneously combust. He simply says, “Because our cute little establishment will be using the name and image of a brand owned by the IPC, that’s why.”

“What? Since when does McRonald’s belong to the IPC?”

Or: in an attempt to entertain herself and satisfy her cravings for grease, Stelle decides to open the first ever fast food joint in Amphoreus' history, thus deviating from the tragic path destiny had in store for everyone. feat: Phaidei Shipper Castorice, Chef Stelle, Waiter Phainon in a too tight apron, Down Bad Mydei, Little Ica, Tired Semi Accountant Dan Heng and plenty of unhinged jokes.

    Summary

Dan Heng swallows. He reaches for the paper bag, opening it with deft fingers, and stares. Inside, there are two croissants, just as warm and delicious as they’d looked behind the display.

Several impulses rise within him – to punch Blade, a little bit. To kiss him, a little bit more. Instead of giving in to any such urges, he seals the bag and places it down on the bench.

“Thank you,” is what he ends up going with, mostly because he’s nothing if not polite, even to people that have attempted manslaughter on him.

Blade shrugs, an elegant motion that Dan Heng can’t help but follow. He looks toward the horizon as he speaks, cup held loosely near his mouth. “You wanted it,” he says. Like it’s that simple.

Or: Dan Heng and Blade go on a date touring Belobog's Winter Solstice Fair, courtesy of Stelle's not-so-subtle scheming.

    Summary

    Something is wrong.

Sunday can tell as much from the moment he wakes up, eyes fluttering open to the soft light the Express uses to mimic morning. It's a sight he’s grown accustomed to, yet today it leaves him with a knot in his throat, with clammy palms sticking to his bedsheets. It is when he draws his first breath of the day, only to find it uneven, that an inkling of something sinks into his bones.

He’s sick, he realizes, and with it comes the fluttering of his heart in his chest, abnormal and abrupt. A rhythm disrupted.

Or: Sunday gets sick, but decides to hide it, not wanting to ruin the crew's plans to go to a karaoke joint. This, of course, blows up in his face.

    Summary

“You chased me around the universe to ensure I paid the price.”

Blade turns his face away, finding that the fire burning in Dan Heng’s eyes is too much, even for him. A cold gaze, after all, will always burn the brightest.

“And now,” Dan Heng’s voice trembles, one breath away from anger. “You’re telling me to stay back?”

    --

Blade feels that there's no need to drag anyone else into his end. Dan Heng disagrees. Contains spoilers for Version 4.3.

    Summary

Kyryll smiled. “This brief time has been more valuable than any treasure I could ever find.”

“I…” I think so too, Illuga could have said, but his throat closed very suddenly.

“I thought I would always be alone here,” Kyryll remarked. “I never thought I’d see a person again.”

“Stop, Kyryll. Please,” Illuga choked out, overcome.

Illuga is forced to make an emergency landing on 'Cemetery,' the deserted moon where a hundred ratniki died several decades earlier.

Not even in his most peculiar of dreams could he have imagined that a man had been living there all along. A man who never sleeps, never eats, and has never heard of that strange nickname. Cemetery? No, no...

    It's FNC162, isn't it?
