"Trent sat in the make-up chair and tried desperately to concentrate on what the make-up lady was saying to him, but he found himself zoning out, and thinking about Daisy. They’d spoken all but a couple of sentences but try as he might, Trent could not get her out of his head. Every time someone walked by or into the room, he found himself looking to see who was there. Well. That settles it. I’m completely fucked. She’s in my head. His makeup done, he got up and went to take a break before he was needed. Slipping into an empty office, he plopped down on the couch and sighed, closing his eyes. Trying desperately to relax, he kept picturing her in his mind’s eye. The way she had smiled at him."
