This world hasn’t belonged to itself for quite some time now. There must be some kind of humor in the fact that tangible land has come to be controlled by such abstract concepts as greed and wealth, so far removed from any firm reality. But Jungkook isn't all too concerned with contemplating the end of the world - he's far too busy just trying to survive its percursory events.
The last thing he needed was to find out that his fate is intertwined with that of a man who may very well get in the way of said survival. Namjoon has worked so hard to get where he is: on the cusp of a new life for himself, one he can feel excited about. He has a good job lined up in a new city with nothing to lose but something about the Kim mansion, where he is set to spend most of his days, makes his skin crawl.
Perhaps it is something in the walls, possibly something at the ends of the dark halls Namjoon would never dare walk down, or maybe it's the master of the house himself.
