"Fuck, Will." It's nothing more than a whisper. Macklin closes the distance between them, crashing into Will's arms. He doesn't even try to stop the tears as he sobs against Will's shoulder. If it surprises Will, he doesn't show it.
"It's okay, I've got you." Will's fingers wrap around the damp strands at the back of Mack's head, his other hand on his back, pulling him in.
For a long while, they just stand there, clinging to each other in the middle of the hotel hallway.

“I’m not…” Will exhaled hard through his nose. “You know what? You know, I don’t have to have feelings for everyone I sleep with, and I don’t have to sleep with everyone I have feelings for.” He said it like he was pulling it out of somewhere he’d stored it, something he’d been keeping in his back pocket for exactly this kind of conversation. “Those two things can just coexist, without it being some big thing.”
Toffoli was quiet for a moment.
Then he said, very carefully: “Think about what you just said.”
