Summary
"Clive, you must understand, this isn't just for you," Asta's tone rising with earnest conviction. "It's for Jill. It's for everyone. The Hideaway needs this, you need this, before you leave for the Origin. To see a sweet love sanctified into marriage, to witness the vows…"
Once upon a lifetime ago, long before the weight of the world knew their names, the three of them played a wedding game. Joshua, not entirely grasping the significance of the bride, cried and insisted on taking on that role, for he understood at least that the bride was the most important to the groom, who was played by Clive.
Growing up, Joshua was certain that he had no right or position to object to his beloved brother marrying someone else before their departure, so that Clive wouldn't have any regrets.
The very vow he had treasured as a golden memory now mocked his silent despair—the heartbreaking certainty that his lifelong, hidden pining was destined to remain unrequited.
Or, was it?

Summary
"Does the thought of bedding me disgust you that much? Would you rather I die?"
Clive flinches when a gloved hand rests over his cheek, and when a stray thumb caresses his stubble like a lover would, the gentle touch is almost too much to bear.
"You need not worry." 'Joshua' leans in as he speaks, and Clive clenches his jaw when those soft lips—so unfairly soft—graze the corner of his mouth. "I promise I can be good. I promise I can be your everything."
Clive squeezes his eyes shut when that plush mouth wanders, tracing his jaw and temple before something warm and wet flicks across the shell of his ear.
"And I promise I'll be tighter and wetter than Jill ever was."

Summary
Clive could have sighed—really, this was his fault.
He had started too early, and spoiled Joshua too much. Spoiled rotten his brother was, content to lie back as pleasure was inevitably given to him, as was his right.Clive found he did not mind.
