Then takes off all his clothes, climbs in bed beside it, and holds the thing all night. Like, it wasn’t sexual, but it wasn’t not sexual, either. Guy just lay there crying. Saying ‘help me’ while he held that wolf. All night."
Miles had shared that story under duress, ironically to prove that he could keep a secret. He was full of people's secrets: dirty, filthy things that people did to one another (or themselves) when they thought no one was watching.
The man laying with the wolf wasn't filthy, though. Just strange.
And sad.
The woman with the shotgun hadn't budged. She probably thought he'd squeal as soon as she and her sister left the El Royale.
What she didn't know was that there was more to that wolf story.
