Summary
Picking up where GRRM left us.
This story is written solely on book canon. I have never watched the show further than the first one and a half seasons. Mainly because of changes in the plot but also because of characterizations I couldn't recognize from the books.
This is an ASOIAF version, with a continuation of GRRM's plotlines.

Summary
Sandor helps Sansa escape the Red Keep, but that's just the beginning. As they try to keep each other alive against the wishes of most of Westeros, they also come to respect each other's abilities, different as they are.
Tags will be added as I go. Eventual Sansan, lots of smut after a lot of tension, my fave pair is rotting my brain and you all get to read about it. The title is from John Keats's Ode to a Nightingale.

EDIT November 2017: This a redux, recently edited version of my original fic “The Look”, that was hijacked by a scrupulous person who somehow abetted by my own naivety has been allowed to sit on it for 1.5 years without me noticing it. Mea culpa!One-off, a small glimpse into what could have happened in King's Landing during ACOK... Sandor tries to protect Sansa from Joffrey's wrath in his own way, but doing that he discovers that the situation has its unexpected advantages for him too.
