Summary
How was this woman to know anything of Nam-gyu’s intentions? As far she was concerned, Nam-gyu was just being a caring samaritan helping another in need. Another who just happened to be both beautiful and naive. She leaned further into her space, placing her hands on her shoulders, as 388 looked up in surprise at her seemingly sympathetic face.
“You’re right, unnie. It’s so scary in here. All those creepy masked people with guns. I can’t sleep either,” she cooed, leaning in close enough to feel the others breath, their lips centimetres from each other. Moment of truth.
“You know what always helps me sleep?” Nam-gyu whispered as she grinned and closed the space between them.

“That shit was my last chance, Nam-su. Where the fuck do I go from here?” Thanos mumbled dully before letting out a loud sniff and turning to stare at the worn plaster ceiling of the motel. “What the fuck do I have to go back to, huh? I can pay off some of my shit but even then, it’s not enough to get me back to where I was. I’m still fucking stuck. I can’t go back like this.”
It was deeply unnerving in a way Nam-gyu couldn’t place. The mouthy, brash, vibrant woman she had come to know before and during the games looked completely defeated. Her sparkling eyes looked worn and lost, as she suddenly looked older than she had ever seen her.

Summary
In this deathly, hellish spectacle of whatever was going on, Nam-gyu finally had everything she wanted. None of it was real but that was what made it so appealing. Here and now, smiling like an idiot against Thanos’ lips as they swallowed her own, she could ignore the stench of death all of these losers left behind as long as this high could last. She didn’t care about any of them. None of it was real. That’s how you win.
They were going to win.

The first thing Nam-gyu thinks when he sees Thanos the great, the rapper, the legend for the first time, is that he dresses fucking awful.
Nam-gyu’s certainly no fashion expert, but even he knows that wearing such mismatched neon colors is nothing more than an eyesore, especially when it clashes with brightly colored purple hair. The entire setup the guy has going on is a complete mess. Nam-gyu feels a little bit sorry for him, actually.

(A stray cat, quips written on sticky notes, a seedy club with a cruel boss and spiteful co-workers, and a purple haired rapper who seems intent on becoming a fixture in Nam-gyu’s life.
