Jayce came to terms with his death twice in the last 24 hours, so it comes as great surprise when he realises he is, in fact, still alive and much younger in a new timeline. He will stop at nothing to make sure this time everything goes right, but he has to learn to navigate the fact that his Viktor isn't the one here with him. And yeah, he is glad this Viktor isn't sick and that they get to have the happy ending he probably didn't deserve, but he can't help but wonder what went wrong, why isn't his Viktor here enjoying this new life?

Zuko had been here before. Exactly five times today.
It always plays out exactly the same, he wakes up to his uncle singing a song about Ba Sing Se, he sees the beam of light. He barges into the village. He gets hit with a boomerang after beating up the Water Tribe’s poor excuse for a soldier.. though after the third attempt, Zuko had started to dodge that. The Avatar appears, sacrifices himself, then escapes.
He goes to sleep, and then it begins again the second he woke up.
