The good weather and general air of camaraderie as they travel together, and Eijirou a warm and familiar presence at his side, have Katsuki feeling content, even peaceful. It’s not a feeling that he would ever have imagined experiencing, let alone becoming familiar with, but there it is.
He glances at Eijirou walking beside him, turned around to call back to their companions and laughing bright and happy, how the autumn colors suit him, how the sunlight filtering through the leaves dapples his skin. Katsuki can’t help the smile pulling at his lips.
Then the thought rises up unbidden to his mind, Eijirou’s in heat, and he isn’t sure where it came from.
Katsuki has a little werewolf blood in his lineage but it's not something he's ever been effected by. Then one day Eijirou goes into heat and something's different this time. One thing leads to another and they end up with some dragon eggs.
