Summary
Everything in life had patterns.
Patterns were good.
Patterns were necessary.
Patterns were telling.
And Multi learned them all, until a new detective stepped into his morgue, shattering everything he thought he understood.

Summary
Science and religion – two opposite ends of the spectrum, and yet strangely similar. Both sought answers and principles of existence, both believed in the power of creation.
Multi had never been a religious person, but the idea of divinity has been haunting his mind more and more as he progressed further in his research.
The deeper he succumbed, the more control seemed to slip away from his grasp.
And in most cases, Quackity was the cause of it.

Summary
“Prove it.”
Kaveh paused. Slowly, he turned around. “What?”
“Prove that you won’t fall in love.”
Kaveh tilted his head. “And how do you suggest I do that?”
“Date me,” said Al-Haitham. “Prove to me that you won’t fall in love.”
Kaveh keeps getting broken up with and is on the verge of giving up on love when Al-Haitham propositions him.

Summary
“You are Ksharewar’s best knight,” Kaveh repeated.
Al-Haitham was so close Kaveh could feel the warmth of his breath on his lips when he responded. “Yes.”
“Would it be fair of me to keep you?” Kaveh asked, his eyes finally opening. “Would it be selfish of me to let someone’s child get hurt in your stead when the likelihood of you walking away in better shape far outweighs theirs?”
“You are the prince. What you say goes,” came Al-Haitham’s only reply.
Kaveh brushed his thumb against his cheek.
“I can never win, can I?”
“With me, you can,” Al-Haitham promised, determination sparkling in his eyes. “I only ask for your favor.”
Al-Haitham fights a tournament in Kaveh's honor. It goes terribly wrong.
